Inventory Receiving and Fulfillment Improvement (C‑Vision)

I undertook a project to overhaul C‑Vision's inventory receiving and fulfillment process, addressing the challenges of batch order processing and precise customer order fulfillment. Previously, receiving and logging thousands of items into our ERP system and subsequently sorting them for customer orders took several days. To streamline this, we developed a system that accepts digital versions of supplier waybills and packing lists. Warehouse employees now scan the serial numbers of each received item, and the system instantly matches the items with purchase orders. It generates receiving documents in the ERP system and displays the intended customer and their purchase order on a large 50" screen.

This entire project was designed and developed by me

This real-time processing allows for simultaneous receiving and sorting, significantly speeding up the entire operation and ensuring higher accuracy. As a result we have achieved:

  • Threefold increase in efficiency
  • Real-time order matching and sorting
  • Efficent operator efficency using large 50" screen for displaying customer and purchase order details
  • Significantly reduced error rate
  • Reduction of 3-4 days to 1 day for order processing, increase efficency and customer satisfaction
