Jerusalem Light Train - City traffic priority

light train

A SCADA system for the Jerusalem Light Train that manages traffic light priority, creating "green waves" for trains across the city. The system monitors train locations and junction status in real-time, connecting 100 traffic junctions. Built with Xenon SCADA (.NET), and SQL Server. The system was designed to allow traffic engineers to manage each junction timing and relative sensors location. This allowed the project to be delivered on time and on budget independently from the traffic engineers, and it allows easy modification of junctions controls.

Designed, Project Managed and Developed by Me
